END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and Auridoo Solution with regard to the copyrighted Software named DuckShot (herein referred to as “SOFTWARE PRODUCT” or “SOFTWARE”) provided with this EULA. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT includes computer software, the associated media, any printed materials, and any “online” or electronic documentation. Use of any software and related documentation (“Software”) provided to you in whatever form or media, will constitute your acceptance of these terms, in which case certain additional or different terms may apply. If you do not agree with the terms of this EULA, do not download, install, copy or use the Software. By installing, copying or otherwise using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, DO NOT INSTALL and EXIT NOW.
1. LICENSE GRANT
This SOFTWARE PRODUCT is free licensed, not sold. This Software is licensed to you, with no right of duplication or further distribution, licensing, or sub-licensing. Auridoo Solution grants to you a personal, non-transferable, and non-exclusive right to use the copy of the Software provided with this EULA. Modifying, translating, renting, leasing, copying, transferring, or assigning all or part of the Software to any other persons, removing any proprietary notices, labels, or marks from the Software is strictly prohibited.
You acknowledge that no title to the intellectual property in the Software is transferred to you. You further acknowledge that title and full ownership rights to the Software will remain the exclusive property of Auridoo Solution, and you will not acquire any rights to the Software, except as expressly set forth above. All copies of the Software will contain the same proprietary notices as contained in or on the Software. All title and copyrights in and to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT (including any associated media incorporated into the SOFTWARE PRODUCT), any accompanying printed materials or electronic documentation, and any copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, are owned by Auridoo Solution. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions.
3. REVERSE ENGINEERING
You agree that you will not attempt to reverse compile, modify, translate, disassemble or create derivative works based on the Software in whole or in part. Any failure to comply with the above or any other terms and conditions contained herein will result in the automatic termination of this license and the reversion of the rights granted hereunder to Auridoo Solution. Prohibition of reverse engineering does not apply to any third-party libraries used by the Software.
4. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
The Software is provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind. Auridoo Solution disclaims and makes no express or implied warranties and specifically disclaims the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of third-party rights. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the Software is with you. Auridoo Solution does not warrant that the Software will be error-free. Auridoo Solution does not provide any technical support.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall Auridoo Solution or Copyright owner be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages however caused, including but not limited to, procurement of substitute goods or services, loss of use, data, profits, or business interruption arising in any way out of the use of this Software, even if Auridoo Solution has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
This license and your right to use the SOFTWARE will terminate immediately without notice from Auridoo Solution if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this EULA. Upon termination, you agree to destroy the SOFTWARE, including all accompanying documents and copies. This is in addition to and not in lieu of any criminal, civil, or other remedies available to Auridoo Solution.
7. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
You acknowledge that you have read this license, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions. You also agree that this license is the complete and exclusive statement of the agreement between Auridoo Solution and you, which supersedes any proposal, prior agreement, or license, oral or written, and any other communications relating to the subject matter of this EULA.
If any term of this EULA shall be found invalid, the term shall be modified or omitted to the extent necessary, and the remainder of the EULA shall continue in full effect.
9. THIRD PARTIES
This Software uses libraries from the following third party projects. Auridoo Solution DOES NOT own these third-party libraries and uses them either through the command line or DLL without any alteration or modification.
i. FFmpeg (LGPL build) licensed under LGPLv2.1. This Software DOES NOT use any FFmpeg GPL libraries.
ii. AForge.NET licensed under LGPLv3.0.
iii. Tesseract licensed under Apache License 2.0.
iv. Tesseract .NET wrapper licensed under Apache License 2.0.
v. Newtonsoft.Json licensed under MIT.
WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
We use Stripe as our payment gateway service provider. All transactions are SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protected. Stripe uses best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security. When you input your personal information to complete a transaction with our payment service provider, we imply that you consent to collect and store your basic information in order to fulfill our service. We DO NOT store your sensitive/ credit information.
In general, third-party services used by us may only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary so that they can perform the services they provide to us.
However, some third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies regarding the information they require to process their purchase-related transactions. For these third parties, it is recommended that you read their privacy policies so that you can understand how your personal information will be handled by them.
In particular, you should keep in mind that some providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than you or us. So if you decide to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, your information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction (s) where the third parties are located.
